I am an artist based in Detroit who grew up in a small suburban town just north of Detroit, Berkley MI. My passion for ceramics was not realized until I started my studies at the College for Creative Studies. Initially beginning with Communication Design, I later switched to Ceramics halfway through, drawn to the hands-on connection to the art, similar to my other art form of aerial circus performance.

Shortly after, I joined the Rovin Ceramics team in the Production Department as a Clay Mixer. There, I found myself immersed in the exciting world of clay creation and the fascinating materials that go into clays and glazes. Through this job and classes, I was introduced to inspiring artists like Katie Bramlage and Sara Nishikawa. Exploring companies like Heath Ceramics and East Fork Pottery further fueled my love for functional ceramics.

I intend to continue my passion for functional ceramics, working with the clay bodies and glazes I create rather than commercially available materials. My visions on establishing my own production line and a brand that will be remembered over time. My aspiration is for my vessels to become a part of people's homes, holding cherished memories of the times they were used.
